INFINITI's VC-Turbo engine, the world's first production variable compression ratio engine, was named to Wards 10 Best Engines and Propulsion Systems list for the second year in a row.

In the 26th year of Wards 10 Best Engines and Propulsions Systems competition, the VC-Turbo engine was pitted against a wide range of new and significantly improved powertrains (26 nominees in all) from manufacturers around the world.

A breakthrough in combustion engine design, the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine adjusts its compression ratio to optimize power and efficiency. The VC-Turbo engine continuously changes its compression ratio with an advanced multi-link system by raising or lowering the pistons' reach, which provides the power and strength of a sprinter with the efficiency and endurance of a marathon runner.

When you make an appointment and drop off your INFINITI for warranty service at INFINITI of Suitland, a complimentary INFINITI service loaner car will be waiting for you.
Things to Keep in Mind with Your Complimentary Loaner

• When you receive a notification that your service has been completed, loaner vehicles are to be returned to INFINITI of Suitland.
  
• A charge of $40.00 per day added to the repair order if not returned on time. Of course, you can contact your service consultant to make further arrangements if the vehicle cannot be returned immediately to avoid additional charges.
• You must be 21 years of age or older to operate a loaner due to insurance regulations.
• Only the person(s) listed on the loaner agreement form are eligible to operate the vehicle.
• A valid drivers license, valid insurance and a valid credit card are required to use an INFINITI loaner vehicle. INFINITI of Suitland will place a $250.00 hold on the credit card or debit card for any incidentals. The hold will be released when the loaner vehicle is returned.
• Parking violations, traffic charges as well as damage is the responsibility of the driver of loaner vehicle.
• If body repair is needed, INFINITI of Suitland can provide Enterprise rental vehicles at the guests expense for insurance. Loaner cars are not available for any service under 90 minutes, oil changes, accident-related repairs, body damage, flood damage etc.
• There is no smoking in the loaner vehicle. Charges will be required for cleaning if smoke is detected.
• The loaner vehicle should be returned with the same amount of fuel as when picked up.

The 2020 INFINITI QX80 has a traditional glove box compartment. To open it, pull this handle up and lower the lid. When you want to lock or unlock the glove box, use your mechanical key. For the safety of your glove box contents, the Intelligent Key cannot be used to unlock the glove box.

This is one of the available console boxes for your vehicle. If your vehicle is equipped with a different console box, see your Owner’s Manual for additional information. To open the compartment, push the knob and pull up on the lid.

If so equipped, an additional console box is located between the seats in the second row. Push the knob up and pull up on the lid to open.

The sunglasses holder is opened by a push and release motion.

INFINITI strategically placed hooks throughout the cargo area. Use these hooks and D-rings to secure all cargo with ropes or straps.

INFINITI has released the first images of the new QX55 SUV. First previewed with a single brushstroke at the 2019 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, new renderings of the QX55 reveal a fusion of athleticism, elegance and utility.

The QX55 is not the first INFINITI SUV with a coupe silhouette. The FX, launched in 2003 as the first crossover to fuse sports car design with SUV practicality, still influences and inspires INFINITI design to this day.

INFINITI will reveal more details on the new QX55 before the car's launch in the summer of 2020.
