The “Predictive Forward Collision Warning” system uses a sensor in the front of the vehicle to analyze the speed and distance to the vehicle directly ahead, as well as a vehicle traveling in front of that one. The predictive forward collision warning system operates at speeds above approximately 3 miles per hour. If a risk of a forward collision is detected, the system provides the first warning to the driver by flashing, the vehicle ahead detection indicator with an audible warning.

Perform the following steps to turn the system ON or OFF:

• Press this button on the left side of the steering wheel until SETTINGS is shown on the vehicle information display.
  
• Press the up or down arrow button to select “Driver Assistance”
• Now, press the ENTER button.
• Select “Emergency Braking” and press the ENTER button
• Select “System” and press the ENTER button to toggle the system on or off.

When the PFCW system is turned off, the FEB system warning light illuminates.

The PFCW system is integrated into the Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection system. When the FEB with Pedestrian Detection is turned off, the PFCW system is also turned off.

Things to Keep in Mind with Your Complimentary Loaner

• When you receive a notification that your service has been completed, loaner vehicles are to be returned to INFINITI of Suitland.
• A charge of $40.00 per day added to the repair order if not returned on time. Of course, you can contact your service consultant to make further arrangements if the vehicle cannot be returned immediately to avoid additional charges.
• You must be 21 years of age or older to operate a loaner due to insurance regulations.
• Only the person(s) listed on the loaner agreement form are eligible to operate the vehicle.
• A valid drivers license, valid insurance and a valid credit card are required to use an INFINITI loaner vehicle. Credit card held for incidentals. Card will not be charged.
• Parking violations, traffic charges as well as damage is the responsibility of the driver of loaner vehicle.
• If body repair is needed, INFINITI of Suitland can provide Enterprise rental vehicles at the guests expense for insurance. Loaner cars are not available for any service under 90 minutes, oil changes, accident-related repairs, body damage, flood damage etc.
• There is no smoking in the loaner vehicle. Charges will be required for cleaning if smoke is detected.
• The loaner vehicle should be returned with the same amount of fuel as when picked up
